Nablus- in a non precedent step, Paltel is ready to launch its campaign to slash 50% of the cost on international long distance calls to facilitate contacts with the outside world. The reduction is applicable 24 hours and after the third minute of calling.

In his part, Mr. Ghassan Anabtawi, GM’s Assistant for the Commercial and Marketing Affairs said that the reduction in the prices come as a complementary step in line with other price cuttings such as that of canceling the insurance fees on the international calls access. The reduction of the cost of services would also meet the need to keep in contact for those who have relatives living abroad, and it will have a positive effect in improving development in the field of technology. Mr. Anabtawi added that these reductions include many countries like Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the USA. He added that the cost of one minute calling to the United States of America is 75 Agoras, 70 Agoras to Egypt and 1.20 New Israeli Shekels to the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Anabtawi added that the campaign will start on the first of April through end of July 2006 to allow as many subscribers as possible to benefit from these price cuttings. There are many quality steps that Paltel will assume in the near future to meet clients’ needs wherever they are.

Paltel and since the beginning of the New Year started to implement a new campaign to reduce the cost on calling for the Israeli cellular phone companies by 33%.
