The Palestinian FIFAe Selection won third place in the FIFA World Cup 2023 - Middle East, in the FIFA eNations Series 2023 regional qualifiers for the FIFA 2023 game, organized by FIFAe, within the second group that includes "Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Ghana, and Lebanon," which was held on January 26 and 27 of this year, hosted by the Bahraini Federation.

 

 

Regarding the participation in the tournament, "Ahmed Al-Sarghali," Secretary General of the Palestinian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports, stated his happiness with the participation of the Palestinian team in such tournaments in international and Arab forums, indicating that this participation will contribute to developing the level of the national team players and their professionalism in electronic football, and is an opportunity to exchange and acquire experiences between The Arabic Region to enter the global qualifying competitions with high readiness.

Stressing that the Palestinian Federation of Electronic Games is the official umbrella for organizing electronic and Intellectual sports, which seeks within its vision to create an integrated environment to support youth and develop this umbrella to identify amateurs and professionals in various games.

Al-Sarghali expressed the federation's important role in arranging and organizing Palestine's participation in international tournaments. And the importance of accepting the Palestine file to participate in the FIFA-e Nation series 2023, pointing to the great responsibility that rests with the federation in this aspect. Since the establishment of the federation two years ago, it has been eager to provide the appropriate technological environment for players, create international partnerships with electronic game developers, and enable players to compete and represent the name Palestine globally, especially since the sport of electronic games has witnessed remarkable development in recent years, and various countries and federations have begun to pay great attention to it.

Hamza Al-Qassem, the official coach of the Palestinian electronic football team at the Palestinian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports, indicated that these tournaments help to form professional national teams in a short period of time, as the training of the "electronic commando" team began last year, but the team showed impressive results compared to other teams.
