PALTEL participated in a pavilion at TEDx Ramallah which was held for the first time in Palestine at the Conference Palace in Bethlehem under the auspices of PALTEL Group. The program is an independent event supported by Ted Global with the participation of a distinct group of inspiring speakers and innovators.
During the event, inspiring stories about Palestine were shared by 12 participants from Palestine and abroad. The event aims at promoting education and inspiration by providing a platform for exchange of ideas in various fields such as science, education, literature, technology, art and design, in order to create a positive outlook on life in Palestine.
Mr. Issa Daibes, PALTEL Sales Manager, said that PALTEL participated in a pavilion at the event because PALTEL believes in the role of technology and the internet in supporting and developing education and creativity amongst young people. Visitors to the pavilion received awards including a Dell laptop and a package of increasing the speed of ADSL Access. Daibes praised the great turnout to the pavilion from different regions, saying that visitors were briefed on the diverse and unique services and campaigns offered by the Company.
Through a draw on participants' numbers and names, Iman Issa Ibrahim Musleh from Ramallah won the grand prize which was a Dell laptop. Commercial Director in the South, Sultan Qawasmeh, handed her the prizes which also included a free package to increase the speed of ADSL Access for 3 months, “Ahlan” cards, wireless phones, and a free package of extra services of her choice for 3 months.
