Nablus, Palestine Telecommunication Company sponsored a party to honor journalists in at AlQaser Hotel in Nablus. This initiative comes to express Paltel’s deep appreciation of the efforts of these journalists who thrive to carry the Palestinian Cause and to serve the Palestinian Community. It also comes under the strategic umbrella of supporting the distinguished in all sectors.

Dr. Ahmad Subuh, Deputy Minister for Information, Mahmoud Al-Aloul, Governor of Nablus, Hani AlMasri, Political Analyst, Majida Kittaneh, Director at the Ministry of Information, and Ghassan Anabtawi, Director for Sales and Marketing at PALTEL, attended the party where many local Radio and TV stations and international agency reporters were honored. 

Speakers talked about the contribution of the Palestinian journalists and their sacrifices that varies in form: from injury to detention and killing. At the end of the party, prizes of appreciation were distributed to journalists. 

Mr. Ghassan Anabtawi stated that the role the Palestinian journalists played is crucial: “we are proud to honor the Palestinian journalists that contributed to convey the word, sound, and image to the world. We are also proud to have these male and female journalists who are providing much to their Palestinian Community”. 

Anabtawi talked about Paltel’s role in supporting the talented and the distinguished in the different scientific and practical aspects. He emphasized that Paltel will put all its capabilities to establish a Media center for communication in Ramallah last year. The center was established to provide service of television and radio production to journalists. The center provided its services of radio and television production, libraries’ services, internet services, and telephone and fax communication to cover local events. Production was activated in main areas in Jineen, Nablus, Hebron and Gaza in addition to three major points in Ramallah.
