Yesterday, the Palestinian Telecommunications Company, Paltel announced the names of the monthly winners of the ADSL-Awards during a ceremony organized as as a part of the “Expotech” exhibitions. Present at the ceremony was Mr. Muhannad Al-Heajawi, General Manager of Paltel and Mr. Rami Shamshoum, Chief Commercial Officer of Paltel and Mr. Floreed Zorba, Director-General in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Mr. Al-Heajawi stressed the importance of the campaign where the distribution of 10 monthly prizes are distributed to participants in the ADSL service, noting that at the end of the year there will be the giving away as a reward a Volkswagon jeep 2009.
Two days ago, Paltel also announced a new initiative where it has doubled the speed and has lowered prices of the ADSL service in an effort to reward the company's loyal subscribers and combat internet abusers and reselling. All Paltel subscribers will be automatically converted to the upgraded speeds in order to receive enhanced quality at lesser prices and also commended all subscribers for the confidence they have shown in the company's services.
Prior to the end of the ceremony, Paltel proceeded to distribute the prizes to the winners of the ADSL campaign: Hanna Butros Jasser from Bir Zeit, Ramallah district won an LG television; Mohamed Suleiman Kharoob from Qalqilya won a PlayStation 2; Khalil Ibrahim Abdel Nabi from Rafah won an LG washer machine; Ismail Mahmoud Shabat from Jabalya won an LG refrigerator. Meanwhile, Mahmoud Mohammed Almamlook from “Alshujaeah” in Gaza; Assad Nabih Kaheel from “Tal-Alhawa” in Gaza; The Office of Rahal Telecommunications in Gaza; Jihad Abu Dawood Abu Erheem of Nablus; Abdel Fattah Haseeba from Nablus and; Zakaria Attia Attoun from “Al-Rammal” in Gaza won the prize to increase their ADSL speed.
