Dr. Abdul Malik AlJaber, CEO of Paltel Group, visited the Arab American University in Jinen together with a group of directors at Paltel. Dr. Monther Salah, President of the University and Engineer Abdul Bari Mosalam, General Director for the University’s Company, Assistants to the President, in addition to a number of deans of faculties were present to welcome Paltel’s delegation.
 
The two parties held a meeting at which Dr. Monther Salah welcomed Dr. AlJaber and the guests of the University, the welcome took place on campus. He also thanked Dr. AlJaber who supported the technological, the scientific, and the investment process in Palestine. He added that the University is the first private one in Palestine and it is seeking to become unique and distinguished. He also mentioned that the competition between the educational public and private sectors gives a chance to promote the educational academic level. Dr. Salah provided a detailed explanation about the university. He added that the university is a pioneer in the fields of information technology. “We are seeking to develop the faculty to become an engineering and information technology one”. Dr. Salah added that the faculty of Dentistry is a well-developed and is equipped with advanced and modern technologies. “We are proud to have it to serve the Palestinian community. We constantly seek to develop all aspects of the university. Recently, we got approvals to open new programs at the university in physics, chemistry, medical imaging and nursing. Dr. Salah also talked about Haseeb Sabbagh Center for Information Technology. This Center is considered a quality added facility to the university since it was established last year. We at the university believe that there are many areas of collaboration between Paltel and us. Areas of collaboration are diverse and open ended. They could range from students’ support to supporting graduation projects or supporting the Haseeb Sabagh center’s business incubator. 
 
In his part, Dr. Abdul Malik AlJaber thanked the university and its administration for inviting him to make such an important visit. He also expressed his happiness and gratitude for the university staff assuring that Dr. Salah’s experience in the higher education sector constitutes an additional experience to improve university education at many levels. Dr. Al Jaber added that Paltel Group is very interested in collaborating with the university and in opening new horizons for the benefit of both parties. We are a Palestinian and regional group that is affecting the community directly. We are seeking to find an empirical means of collaboration with the university in the field of information technology. He added that the incubator at Haseeb Sabagh center is an important step in the path of cooperation to develop and fund information technology initiatives in northern Palestine. We at Paltel Group are interested in new ideas to adopt and new projects and ideas to develop our existing services and add new ones.
 
Dr. AlJaber added that each year Paltel Group is supports a number of needy students as part of its social responsibility to allow them finish their education and join the employment market. He added that the Group will include the Arab American University students to its program. He added that the Group is constructing a specialized training center for its employees. He expressed their willingness to host university students in their training programs to provide them with the adequate training at no cost. He noted that a huge number of graduates join Paltel Group each year. 
 
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to form technical committees to follow up all aspects of coordination and collaboration between the University and the Group. After the meeting, Dr. Monther Salah together with Dr. Adul Malik AlJaber toured around the different university faculties and facilities.
