23-9-2007: Saturday before yesterday, Ramadan 10th, Ramadan cycle for Futsol football for private sector institutions was started in Gaza sponsored by Paltel Group in cooperation with The Union of Telecommunication and Information Technology on Al-Aqsa University Playground in Gaza City. The championship was named Late Ramez Al-Dahshan Championship, one of Paltel employees, as loyalty to him, whereas he passed away during performing his work at the Company. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of participated companies and institutions like Mr. Hazem Abu Ramadan Cairo-Amman Bank Manager, Mr. Haitham Abu Sha’ban the Bank Development Manager, Mr. Amr Al-Sarraj Public Relations Manager at Bank of Palestine, Mr. Sami Ashur from the Arab Bank. Marketing Manager Rami Al-Agha represented Jawwal Company, Commercial manager, Samer Saba represented Paltel, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Amoudi the Chairman of Telecommunication and Information Technology Union in addition to Dr. Marwan Ismail the Public relations and Investors Manager at Paltel Group.
In the opening game, Cairo-Amman Bank team won over Paltel team by three scores for nothing to top the first group temporarily, whereas Jawwal Company team won over the Arab Bank team by three scores for one topping the second group. The cycle will continue till the fourteenth of Ramadan where the final game will be conducted for the Championship Cub.
