Jerciho, Palestine Telecommunication Company held its first Meeting of the Permanent Consultative Committee for 2005 in Jericho with the presence of all high officials to evaluate its achievements during the first quarter of the year and accordance with the set plans. During the meeting, running projects were also discussed. Around 70 head of sections, directors, and CEO of Paltel attended the meeting.

Dr. Abdul Malik Jaber, CEO of Paltel, said: “holding such meetings each quarter and on regular basis is an important tool to guarantee that we work within the framework of the set plans. It gives us a clear image on the obstacles and challenges that Paltel is facing. It also aims at involving many employees in the decision making process. Paltel team of workers understands the real sense of comprehensive partnership.

Jaber added: “conducting such meetings help us better comprehend the details of the situation in a less formal environment setting and allow us to listen to queries and suggestions. All discussions are studied and collective decisions are made. This stimulate employees input and loyalty as they feel part of the decision making process”. He continued: “this meeting comes at an important time at which Paltel is launching many projects to meet customers’ needs”. 

He added: “the timing of this meeting is important as Paltel is intending to launch a number of projects and programs to meet customers’ needs. Our aim is to provide new services to our customers and this is our real corporate capital”.

It is worth mentioning that the outcomes of the meeting would be distributed in form of a report, a binding working document, with clear goals and responsibilities to guarantee that plans set will be successfully implemented. 

Jaber expressed his contentment for the: “high level of responsibility of PALTEL employees where all are working to their outmost to achieve best results”. He added: “I hope that all Palestinian companies would follow our footsteps to achieve unprecedented results in a quick time”.
