Nablus, Paltel signed an agreement with SanDisk Company in California. SanDisk is an internationally recognized authority on non-volatile memory technology. SanDisk is a specialized company that develops different types of memory chips (flash memory, mobile cards, MP3s). According to the terms of the agreement, Paltel is considered the sole and main distributor to SanDisk products in Palestine.
Paltel General Manager, Mr. Ahmad Aweidah, signed the agreement on behalf of Paltel while SanDisk Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Mr. Tareq alHossaini, represented SanDisk. Mr. Mahmoud AlJallad, Retail Sales Manager at Paltel mentioned that this agreement will allow Paltel to provide SanDisk developed products to the Palestinian market through the different service and distribution centers of Paltel in Palestine at competitive prices. AlJallad added: it is expected that many people will buy these products especially among the businessmen, journalists, researchers, young people and all other categories of people who are interested in obtaining the latest technologies especially in the world of memory sticks. It is expected to have these products available in the Palestinian market by next July.
It is worth mentioning that SanDisk Company has several agreements with many countries in the region such as Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, etc. Paltel’s agreement will open new horizons to the Palestinian Market and will result in a leap in the telecommunication and the information technology sectors.
