Due to its fast efforts in increasing the internet penetration in Palestine, Paltel, increased the percentage of internet services in Palestine . The number of ADSL lines exceeded 35.500 by the end of March. More than 3.600 lines were connected in March only. HADARA has achieved more than 70% of the total connections of this service, and so the percentage of ADSL penetration in Palestine exceeded 10% of the active lines.

 

 

 

 

The Manager of Marketing  at Paltel, Mrs. Mona Abazah has declared that due to Paltel efforts, about 13 new areas were connected to the ADSL service in March, which means that the connected areas has reached 129. Abazah added: Paltel seeks to provide the service to various areas and to reach 65 thousand customers by the end of 2007.

 

 

 

 

Raed E’layyan, Hadara Commercial Administration Manager, assured the extension of ADSL campaign (Halmarrah Ahla) (This Time is Better) which met wide success for its sales and offers attaining up to 400 Shekels to its customers.

 

 

 

 

It‘s worthy mentioning that Paltel has launched the program “connect and talk freely” targeting ADSL home and current customers. This program allows the citizen to be connected to ADSL with  512 Kbps and up, or the ADSL can raise the speed to 512 Kbps or more to have free local calls to the fixed telephone (1200 free minutes monthly) and deduction by 50% to his call to Jawwal.
