29 -10-2007 / Nablus, PalTel is preparing to launch the line student service, within Exposition organized ExpoTech 2007, which will be held on Tuesday, 30/10/2007 in the city of Ramallah-Bireh, a service targeting students of universities and institutes and colleges and provides them with the possibility of communication inside their residences through their own fixed telephone line without installation charges, and the student line works through the prepaid card “Ahlan” (20, 50, 100) shekels. The launch of this service comes from PalTel’s desire of student support and the provision of telecommunication services that facilitate their living lives.
The Manager of Fixed Line Development Department, Mr. Saed Malhas said that the aim of launching the Student line service is to provide permanent means of telecommunication at low cost for students as well as it would give the students the opportunity to access the Internet and get all the studies and research necessary for them in their lives and the scientific process, also Mr. Malhas described the service as a public telephones (payphons) and serves the students.
He added that it is expected that the service student line will turnout range of students especially since they do not need installation fees or subscription or monthly bills, in addition to providing many free services through it, e.g: Caller ID service calling with emergency numbers and receive calls from any anywhere.
It should be noted that the mentioned service fall within the range of services for fixed line, which PalTel launches constantly to provide the latest and most appropriate services to its subscribers in all Palestinian areas.
