Palestine Telecommunication Company in cooperation with Forum for Young Scientists launch the second round of “Days to Discover” for Paltel employees’ children and local community individuals at Mustafa Hafeth Elementary School for Girls in Gaza City. This activity is part of a series of summer activities for Paltel’s employees and their relatives in the West Bank and Gaza…

The two week “Days to Discover” attracted around 150 children between 6-15 years old. Equipments and tools to measure children’s mental capabilities are available. Supervisors and trainers at the camp work on the advancement of children’s capacities in different social and scientific aspects.

The activities of the “Days to Discover” started in Gaza City in collaboration with the Forum for Young Scientists and under severe living conditions with the aim of raising the children and parents morals and help them face these circumstances. Mr. Khader Jammali, Representative from Paltel commented: “We hope that this project would affect each household in Palestine”.

He added that this activity reflects Palestine Telecommunication Company’s interest in the welfare of its employees and their families who are considered an integral part of the future Palestine.

This activity comes as part of a series of other activities Palestine Telecommunication Company to promote creativity and excellence. Paltel believes that Palestine children are in bad need for efforts to stimulate their mental capabilities in a healthy environment. Palestine Telecommunication Company appreciates Forum for Young Scientists efforts in this regard.

The schedules set for “Days to Discover” promote critical thinking, logical and scientific based approach research to explain many natural environmental, space, and scientific phenomena in addition to introducing children to biology, physics, chemistry, creative writing, press releases writing, and basics of electronics, computerization, information technology, music, sports and swimming activities.
