Ramallah: Chairman of the Paltel Group, Mr. Sabih Al-Masri has responded to the recent rumors in the media regarding the revival of the Zain/Paltel deal saying that any linkage with Zain is solely limited to technical and commercial cooperation between the two companies under a common perspective of the importance of maintaining close ties in commercial dealings.
Such understanding has permitted both companies to enter into an agreement concerning the ‘One Network’, allowing Jawwal mobile users in Palestine and mobile customers in Zain Jordan and Palestine to benefit from the added value services of the ‘One Network’. We will continue to cooperate with Zain in other Arab countries to continue the expansion of the ‘One Network’ in order spread to other Arab countries covered by the Zain network.

“This atmosphere of cooperation is in the interest of the two companies and customers involved. There are no changes to our relationship and no other intention regarding Zain outside the field of commercial cooperation, and there is no intention to reviving the merger with Zain,” Mr. Al-Masri stated.
