VoLTE – Voice Calls over 4G Networks
What is VoLTE?
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) enables voice calls to be made over the 4G LTE network, instead of relying on 2G or 3G networks.
This feature allows you to make and receive voice calls using the 4G network.

How to Activate VoLTE on Different Devices
- iOS Devices:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Cellular.
- Select Cellular Data Options.
- Tap Voice & Data.
- Enable VoLTE or 4G VoLTE, depending on your iOS version.
- Android Devices:
The steps may vary slightly depending on the device manufacturer (Samsung, Huawei, Oppo, etc.) and software version, but generally:
- Open Settings.
- Select Connections or Network & Internet.
- Select Mobile Networks.
- Enable VoLTE Calls / VoLTE.

Requirements for Using VoLTE While Roaming
- Your device must support VoLTE. For Android devices, Android 15 or later is required, while the feature is available on all iOS devices.

About the Service:
This service is available to postpaid subscribers and provides internet access, call services, and SMS functionality onboard approximately 40 aircraft. These flights are operated by airlines including Saudi Airlines, Royal Jordanian, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Libyan Airlines, Kuwait Airways, British Airways, and others.
The service is only available above 4,000 meters and is not permitted during take-off or landing. The cabin crew will announce the availability of this service during the flight.
